In a few days 2013 will come to a close. With that is the tradition of the ball drop in New York City. Did you know that a ball has been dropped every year since 1907 except for during World War II in 1942 and 1943 when there was a "dim-out". You can find out more facts about the Waterford Crystal ball which drops each year at 11:59 pm in front of a crowd of millions, probably more like billions by going to: Times Square Ball.
